Shri Gautam Sarkar

Born on 24th September, 1964 at Saboorm Sub-Division under South Tripura District. Did graduation in Commerce (B.Com) and LL.B from Calcutta University. Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of West Bengal and was the member of the Bar Association of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta, West Bengal and practiced as an Advocate in the Original and Appellate Jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta, West Bengal and appeared in several Criminal, Civil and Constitutional matters during practice in Calcutta High Court.

Joined in Tripura Judicial Service as Grade-III Judicial Offier on 22ndOctober,2001 at Kamalpur, North Tripura as Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.), Kamalpur, North Tripura and posted as District & Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagar w.e.f. 14.05.2019. Presently posted as District & Sessions Judge, Dhalai Tripura, Ambassa w.e.f. 17.01.2022.
