Sri Rahul Roy, born to Sri Animesh Chandra Roy (Retd. Central Govt. Officer) and Smt. Kumkum Roy (Home maker), is a Judicial Officer of Tripura Judicial Service.

Obtained B.A.LL.B degree from Surendranath Law College, Kolkata, under University of Calcutta and enrolled as an Advocate in Bar Council of West Bengal in the year 2010. Joined the Service in the year 2014.

Held the posts of Civil Judge (Jr. Div.) [including ex-officio Member Secretary, Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee]; Judicial Magistrate First Class; Assistant Legislative Counsel & Under Secretary, Law Department, Govt. of Tripura; Registrar, District Judge’s Court, West Tripura Judicial District.

Promoted in Grade-II of the Service in 2020 and held the posts of Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) & Assistant Sessions Judge; Deputy Registrar, Eastern Zonal Bench at Kolkata, West Bengal (on deputation).

Presently posted as Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) & Assistant Sessions Judge, Dhalai Judicial District, Ambassa, w.e.f. 31.01.2022.
